Photography: to create the sky, I scattered most of my dark grey plates on a blackout curtain over a 6' x 6' table. The round dome behind the cockpit can be rotated to turn an internal gear assembly that shifts the wings. Ships: MBot can change wing positions as shown in the official artwork. The torsos were made using waterslide decals, and Mongrel and Morningtide's heads were designed by me and printed by BrickSanity. I used a cloth polishing attachment and liberal amounts of Brasso as a polishing agent to remove the print. I removed the printing using a bench grinder with a speed regulator so I could slow it down enough to wipe the printing without eating through the plastic. Minifigures: the white legs with black boots are officially only sold with printing on them.
